| 40' Manta 40 Catamaran
|
Sophia is hull # 45 and one of the last of the Endeavour built Manta's. The original owners took possession in 1999 and promptly left for the Caribbean. They circumnavigated the Caribbean Sea and brought her back to Florida 4 years later to sell and pursue other dreams. The current owners bought her in 2004 and sailed western Florida until retirement in 2006 when she was once again sailed to the the Bahamas for the sailing season. She returned to Florida in spring 2007 where she was extensively upgraded with new generator, watermaker, dinghy and hoist system. She then returned to the Bahamas and Caribbean in sailing season 2007/08 where she has remained ever since.
The current owners have added items to make her one of the most comfortable liveaboards in the Manta fleet with many small and large add-ons to make life aboard more pleasant.
