It’s a New Year! 2013! To kick off this year of catamarans for sale we are having an Auction! Due to the success of previous auctions in 2012, we have owners who are ready to move their Catamarans. For this auction we have approached our sellers as to who is ready to sell, these yachts should be considered seriously for sale.
This is an online auction. You will be given the chance to bid on the following items during the auction period. All bids to be considered must meet at minimum the initial bid price so noted for each vessel. Each vessel has a reserve price established by the seller. All Reserves should be considered an aggressive selling price given today’s current market. Pre-inspections are possible during the auction period at each vessels location and or third party pre-inspections maybe be hired via local inspectors. The Auction
Dates: Vessels will be made available for pre-inspection beginning January 9th 2013. Formal Auction Dates are January 8th through January 20th. The Auction will be closed at 5:00 PM Sunday January 20th 2013.
Bidding Process: Bids will ONLY be accepted January 9th beginning at 9:00 AM and end January 20th at 5:00 PM. All considered bids must be above the initial Bid Price and or above the current published highest bid Price during Auction Hours.
Terms of the Auction: These vessels are being offered "as is where is" with right to inspect, survey and sea-trial, accept or reject only. Any costs related to pre-inspection, surveys and sea trials are solely at the bidders expense. Any costs related to launching, yard fees, and Approved Captains for requested sea-trials are at the bidders expense. Third Party Inspectors are Available upon request.
Terms of Purchase: The highest bidder over the reserve will be required to execute a complete Purchase Agreement and will need to have a 10% deposit escrowed within 48 hours in The Catamaran Company's escrow account. The highest bidder will have the first right to execute a purchase agreement. All submitted purchase agreements MUST be executed by both the bidder and the seller to be considered an Accepted Offer. If that bidder does not execute a purchase agreement with 24 hours, the vessel will be offered to the next highest bidder. All bids over the reserve will be submitted to the sellers for their review. Cash Only, Close within 14 Days.This Auction is for Marketing Promotion Only and shall not be considered legally binding until an Acceptable Purchase Agreement with deposit has been executed between a buyer and a seller.
